I have to tell you, the morning after I sent my last blog out that I, "heard from God, and He told me to go to Asia," I woke up with A LOT of anxiety and racing thoughts...
I was thinking, "Oh no, I just sent this to everyone I know and I am going to look like a total fool when the money doesn't actually come in and I find out that wasn't really God speaking to me."
Then I thought, "I am actually making a fool of God, because I can't hear him right and I am an idiot for thinking I do."
Thankfully, I quickly realized that I was allowing satan to flood my brain with doubt and by allowing those thoughts in, I was doubting and disrespecting God and what he had said to me. So for the rest of the morning, I did not allow those thoughts to even finish in my head (2 Corinthians 10:5). As soon as a I started to worry, doubt or have one of those thoughts, I quickly silenced them and reminded myself what God did say and I trusted Him to provide. And I asked several people to pray for me and the trip. Soon I was confident again that I was going to Asia and he was going to provide.
In less than 2 weeks, the FULL amount for the trip has come in and I am still trying to grasp how miraculous He is! I thought it would take months to raise this much money. I worried, I would be waiting for the last support money to come in, in the final days or past the deadlines. But God provided immediately...MIRACULOUSLY! I am overwhelmed by His love and provision.
God has taught me to trust Him, now He is really teaching me to obey Him quickly and He keeps holding up his end of the bargain...and so much more! :)
